Electrician– Fire Alarm Technician

About the Role
You will have responsibility for fire systems across our current and new customer base.
This will involve:
* Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms & Emergency / Exit lights
* Inspection and testing of fire systems in accordance with AS 1851
* Assisting in growing our customer base by identifying and following up on opportunities
* Customer liaison providing assistance where required
* Provide recommendations to customers on fire protection systems and equipment
* Working primarily in Canberra, however short-term regional travel is required to service our customers (travel shared amongst the team)
* Participation in the on call roster
About You
* Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
* Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
* Current Electrical Licence - mandatory
* Current Driver's licence - mandatory
* Current Cabling Licence – ideal
* Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
* Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
* Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
* Hardworking and reliable
* Experience in a customer facing role.
