About the role
Reporting to the IT Project Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will deliver end‑to‑end business analysis for IT/Digital transformation programmes, combining a focus on both systems implementations/overhauls, and business optimisation/process improvement.
Responsibilities
* Assessing current state and defining future state requirements
* Facilitating workshops to refine/validate business requirements
* Translating business requirements into functional & technical specifications
* Analyzing systems, processes and data to identify improvements
* Documenting and communicating complex information for all stakeholders
* Participating in RFP/vendor selection and software development lifecycle
* Contributing to business process mapping activities
What they're looking for
* Full Australian working rights essential
* Senior Business Analyst experience on system transformation initiatives - upgrades, overhauls, integrations, digitisation
* A track record working on HRIS / Payroll initiatives is highly desirable
* Demonstrated proficiency in business optimisation, business process mapping, requirements gathering & documentation
* Fluency in Jira and Confluence + strong analytical & strategic thinking skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Comfortable working in hybrid Agile and Waterfall environments
* Six‑Sigma or Change Management skills advantageous
