Objective:

To improve brand awareness and sales outcomes through marketing strategy, communications, and the planning and delivery of marketing content (internal and external) for Perdaman. The marketing coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of all marketing activities in both traditional and digital media, including but not limited to advertising, social media, blogging, research, website development and newspaper media writing.

Accountabilities:

The below list of accountabilities is not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned to the post holder, which are to be undertaken as requested or required.

· Developing and executing strategies and campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve campaign objectives as discussed with business heads and supervisors.

· Planning, developing, coordinating and delivering content in line with the advertising policies and in support of sales objectives.

· Providing advice and tactical support to senior management regarding internal and external marketing communications.

· Proactively researching, recommending and developing blogs, articles, social media and other branded content that will create consumer awareness and effectively promote services.

· Conducting basic website maintenance, including the publishing of new content and investigation/correction of broken links and error messages.

· Analysing website data and analytics using WordPress and Google analytics tools, plus any additional/alternative resources available.

· Managing external marketing contractors, reviewing third-party content and actioning requests from business leaders.

· Drafting budgets and expenditure proposals for marketing costs.

· Compiling monthly reports on social media analytics for Perdaman, Perdaman Global Services and Perdaman Advanced Energy (plus additional businesses as advised by supervisors)

· Planning, producing and editing video content for social media, YouTube and other platforms/purposes as assigned by management, using Adobe CC.

· Conducting in-depth social media audits for all Perdaman accounts, reviewing performance and setting goals for the next quarter.

· Collecting and analysing facts about newsworthy events.

· Always Maintain Perdaman's core values

· Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience Requirements:

· Tertiary qualification in media, marketing or communications (BCom preferred)

· Minimum 5 years' experience in media relations and marketing strategy.

· High level of English proficiency.

· Prior experience managing multiple social media accounts.

· Understanding of key features and strategies using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an in-depth knowledge of effective communication tools to reach indented audiences.

· Knowledge/experience in video production, graphic design, electronic messaging, photo editing, website development/maintenance and social media.

· Professional writing, listening and speaking skills are essential.

Learning: convey both the provision of support to the skills development of others and personal learning activities.

Technology: advanced mastery competency required to operate workplace equipment and technology including communication technology and information management technology and social media
