Our client are a well-established Sydney-based construction company, operating since 2005, with a strong reputation for delivering high-end residential builds, commercial fit-outs, and complex remedial projects. Known for their attention to detail, structured systems, and consistent project delivery, they work across luxury homes, architecturally designed builds, and diverse commercial sectors including retail, hospitality, and medical.
Their success is built on a collaborative, team first approach, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and on budget, they pride selves on professionalism, strong processes, and long-term relationships.
Due to a growing pipeline of work, they are seeking a skilled Estimator to join the team.
Key responsibilities
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and take-offs from drawings and specifications
* Using Bluebeam for measurement and markups
* Producing BOQs and cost plans using Cubit Estimating
* Reviewing scopes, drawings, and documentation for completeness
* Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing submissions
* Identifying cost risks, buildability issues, and value engineering opportunities
* Working closely with project managers and site teams
* Assisting with procurement, budgeting, and cost control
You will bring
* Proven experience as an Estimator in residential and/or commercial construction
* Strong proficiency in Bluebeam and Cubit Estimating
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes
* Solid understanding of construction methods and sequencing
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation ability
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* High level of organisation and attention to detail
