About The Role
In this role, you'll provide clinical direction, oversight, leadership, expert advice and support for clinical activity (Nursing and Allied Health), clinical governance and practice with a focus on consistent and quality clinical care outcomes, clinical resourcing and education of the clinical teams across Home Care.
The Care Work You'll Be Doing May Include
- Oversee the development of clear clinical practices and processes across Home Care.
- Uphold and improve Clinical Governance with oversight into the review and delivery of quality clinical care across Home Care.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance as an expert clinician and leader for complex clinical issues and incidents.
- Provide leadership in the development of Home Care’s clinical education strategies and priorities.
- Work alongside relevant government bodies and external stakeholders regarding clinical activity and practice.
- Report on clinical and quality activity and make recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Develop and refine models of care to enable quality dementia care, end of life and restorative care pathways.
- Help achieve strong financial results in Home Care by prioritising and promoting key clinical drivers.
About You
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Allied Health - AHPRA Registration
- Significant experience operating at an operational and managerial level - Preferably in Aged or health care
- Strong financial management skills
- Proven ability to work in an operational workplace that requires high attention to detail, particularly in regard to compliance and regulation matters
- Demonstrated negotiation, decision-making, critical thinking, problem solving, risk management and conflict resolution skills
- Effective management skills and experience with a flexible approach to change
- Experience managing, developing and coaching a team of skilled professionals
- Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment
- A current driver’s license and safe driving record
