Cardiologist to join our dynamic team on a full time / part time / contractual basis
Geriatrician to join our dynamic team on a full time / part time/ contractual basis
General medicine to join our dynamic team on a full time / part time/ contractual basis
Position Overview:
The successful candidates will provide specialist neurological, Cardiology and Geriatric consultation and care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a neurologist, cardiologist, Geriatrician seeking flexible hours in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct outpatient and/or inpatient assessments .
* Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans.
* Advanced test reporting and Interpreting results : EEG, Neurophysiology studies, 2D Echo, Holter, ECG etc.
* Collaborate with referring GP's, physicians, and allied health staff in a timely fashion.
* Participate in multi -disciplinary meetings (MDT) to discuss complex case management
* Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with clinic policies.
Requirements:
· Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, FRACP - Neurology or Cardiology or Geriatrics
· Current Specialist registration (Neurology or cardiology or geriatrics ) with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) & Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
· Proven experience in Australia or New Zealand in chosen field.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience practicing in Australia or New Zealand in their chosen specialist field.
· For Overseas Trained Physicians Substantial Comparability assessment report should be available from Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and eligibility to register with AHPRA.
While candidates may apply with expertise in a single specialty, preference will be given to those with combination of specialties across neurology, cardiology, and geriatrics.
Other mandatory requirements:
* Australian citizen or permanent residents
* Required IELTS scorings where applicable.
* All overseas trained candidates must provide IELTS scores.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
* Should have valid Australian driver's license.
* Working with Children Certificate (WWCC)
* ALS & BLS Certification.
* Should have 100 points ID Check as per ACT and NSW Government policies.
* National Police check and where required an International police check.
* In case of overseas trained physicians should have valid work visa with no restrictions.
