Mid-Senior Rail Engineer
We are seeking skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our team in supporting a major rail company with the development and delivery of various Rolling Stock upgrades.
The successful candidate will be working as a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for design, development, integration, validation and ongoing maintenance of systems across multiple fleets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Undertaking design and development activities while ensuring adherence to applicable processes, standards and best practices.
* Developing technical documentation relating to new and upgraded systems and components.
* Providing technical and process advice, guidance, and governance.
* Developing and supporting inputs to Risk Assessments, FEA, FMECAs, FTAs etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Engineering degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
* RPEng certification is mandatory; CPEng would be beneficial.
* Strong experience in mechanical design, CAD, FEA etc. for the Mechanical role.
* Strong experience in electrical design, low voltage, 12 – 110V DC systems, basic control/switching, cabling, etc. for the Electrical role.
