About the Role
* This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and creating a supportive team environment.
* The Practice Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operational workflows, overseeing day-to-day practice operations, and facilitating inductions and training sessions.
A Day in the Life:
* Collaborate with lead doctors to ensure efficient operational workflows.
* Oversee the management of day-to-day practice operations, focusing on quality care.
* Facilitate inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff.
* Manage diary scheduling systems, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination.
* Provide solution-focused management for clinic operations and doctor queries.
* Lead a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in GP medical reception or practice management.
* Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred.
* Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations.
