Job Summary:
This role is responsible for driving top line sales growth, field productivity and marketing awareness of the Sunrider brand with potential new customers. The main responsibilities of this role are to increase Sunrider Australia's base of distributors and customers through personal recruitment, developing new sales leaders, promoting duplication and implementing targeted marketing strategies.
80% of the role will leverage your ability to establish & build relationships and then implement business development/sales strategies to develop and grow Sunrider Australia's new distributor and customer base and be responsible for ensuring distributors' grow their businesses in a productive & profitable manner to maximise potential earnings.
The remaining 20% of this role is creating and implementing modern day marketing strategies/programs that will lead to increased awareness of the Sunrider brand and product range with current and potential customers and generating sales revenue.
This position requires fluency in both English and ideally Mandarin with strong communication skills and an understanding of the English and Chinese business/consumer behaviours here in Australia.
Ideally the person will have experience in the Direct Selling or Franchising industries, or a similar people focused industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development
Personally recruit and develop distributors and customers to expand the Australian business and accelerate sales growth.
Develop, grow and support emerging new Business leaders to achieve both personal and company's targets in recruitment, product sales & retention.
Plan, co-ordinate and implement recruitment and product sales related activities e.g. face to face & online opportunity meetings/company seminars/business meetings/business and health expos and other activities to meet agreed upon targets.
Effective communication with business builders on vital business information as well as updating distributors with new company initiatives.
Actively participate in discussions with the Country Manager and Regional Training Manager to communicate updates/feedback from the field.
Develop and personally implement an effective sales, recruitment and development strategy.
Recommend and actively implement robust strategies to increase market penetration, grow new leaders and increase overall distributor and customer base.
Provide information by collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends for the purpose of increasing recruitment & sales.
Sustain rapport with your own personally sponsored distributors and groups by having direct contact and exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities and new areas for expansion.
Marketing
Formulate, implement and manage targeted marketing programs that will increase the awareness of the Sunrider brand with potential new customers leading to incremental sales volume being generated from these groups.
Ideal Job Qualification Requirements:
Minimum three years (3) years' experience in the Direct Sales/Network Marketing or similar people focused industry with a proven track record of personally recruiting, developing and growing Distributors/teams and customers in the field
Experience in a Direct-to-Consumer organisation with a focus on new business development, increasing sales and strengthening relationships.
Extensive understanding and knowledge of the Asian market culture and business/consumer behaviour.
Proficient in Mandarin with fluent English communication skills preferred.
Have existing networks and/or relationships that you have developed and nurtured over your career to leverage new business and growth opportunities.
A very pro-active individual with a deep level of commitment to make a positive impact and to achieve both personal, team & company's goals.
Proven ability to leverage relationships to drive results in sales, leadership development and team building.
Excellent sales, communication and presentation skills
Knowledge and experience in the health and wellness sector is a plus.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as and when required.
Intra and Inter-state travel as per business requirements
