About the Role
With the continued growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our Fireproofing Team based in Lytton, QLD.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay close to home while still having access to occasional overtime. The position is offered on a casual 38-hour work week with the opportunity to transition into a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Duties will include (but not be limited to)
* Installing and removing concrete forms within the refinery
* Setting frames and levels.
* Cutting, assembling, and securing plywood to construct formwork.
* Forming timber structures for minor and major repairs to beam, columns and structures requiring fireproofing.
* Carrying out concreting works as required.
* Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
* Adhering to WHS requirements and ensuring safe, efficient work practices at all times.
* This role will include assisting the coatings team with blast and paint applications as well as Chartek application
Requirements & Experience Needed
* Trade Certificate in Carpentry (Cert lll)
* Working at Heights Certificate
* Confined Space Entry certificate (desirable)
* High Risk Work Licence (advantageous)
* White Card
* Full Australian Working Rights
* Current Drivers Licence
