Role Details:
Join the Department for Child Protection as Executive Assistant to the Regional Director, where your organisational and administrative expertise will ensure the smooth operation of the office while supporting initiatives that make a real difference for children and families.
In this role, you will:
* Provide high-level executive support to the Regional Director, including managing diaries, meetings, travel and briefings.
* Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and meeting papers.
* Support HR processes such as recruitment, personnel records and staff audits.
* Assist with budgets, financial reporting and monitoring expenditure.
* Liaise with staff and stakeholders and contribute to improvements in systems and processes.
To be successful:
We are seeking someone who can provide high-level administrative support by managing competing priorities, staying organised under pressure, and ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to prepare quality documents, reports, and correspondence, are essential to supporting the team effectively.
In this role, you'll assist by maintaining records, following processes to minimise errors, and handling sensitive information with discretion. Your ability to work collaboratively, use a range of software confidently, and contribute to a safe and inclusive workplace will make you a valued part of the team.
