At Johville Park Farm, we seek a skilled Dairy Cattle Farm Operator to manage and maintain our dairy herd.
* Maintaining high standards of work and animal welfare is crucial through attention to detail in all aspects of farm operations.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in milk harvesting, maintaining milk quality, calving down cows, operating tractors/machinery, and general maintenance tasks.
The farm is computerized with Automated Cow Monitoring systems (ACRs), and the herd is equipped with Herd Insight Collars. Our automated calf rearing feed system ensures optimal nutrition for young calves.
The key requirements include:
* Previous farming experience is essential.
* Able to work as a team member and independently, with excellent communication skills.
* Strong knowledge and experience in milk production and farming practices.
