Introduction
We are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Financial Accountant on a 3-month temporary contractual basis for a recognised NFP organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
* Contribute significantly to month‐end management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.
* Partner effectively with divisional finance and supply chain teams, fostering a data‐driven culture and ensuring a cohesive understanding of the financial implications of key decisions.
* Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
* Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
* Stay up‐to‐date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and educate operational stakeholders.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Assistant Financial Accountant for over 2–3 years.
* Proficiency in using TechOne (Desirable) and strong financial principles.
* Exceptional networking abilities, with a proven capacity to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
* Studying towards CA/ CPA.
