Health and Safety Assistant
We are seeking a Health and Security Assistant to provide a clean, hygienic, and safe environment at the Illawarra Hospital Group.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing support to patients, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include:
* Cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety;
* Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as dressing and toileting;
* Performing security tasks, including responding to incidents and monitoring CCTV footage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A current First Aid Certificate;
* A Class 1A NSW Security Licence;
* A Working With Children Check;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
