Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and unit test applications in line with established standards. The role involves resolving technical and application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering secure, high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You will also contribute to process improvements, mentor team members, and ensure client-focused delivery of business projects.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and unit test applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, and web technologies.

* Ensure all solutions meet established security, quality, and compliance standards.

* Prepare and maintain developer documentation.

* Deliver business projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

* Work closely with System Design, Architecture, Testing, DevOps, Scrum Masters, Product, and other business units.

* Maintain a strong client focus, ensuring systems support client retention and satisfaction.

* Contribute to group technology initiatives and process improvements.

* Demonstrate teamwork, provide mentorship, and share knowledge within the development team.

* Maintain a personal development and training plan to support ongoing learning.

Requirements:

* Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer.

* Strong experience with Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API) and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).

* Experience in relational database design and programming, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.

* Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, or Kanban.

* Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

* Hands-on experience with automated unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

* Knowledge of, cloud platforms (GCP), Docker, and NoSQL databases.

* Experience with multi-threading and distributed computing concepts.
