We're seeking a motivated, hands-on Commercial Site Supervisor / Carpenter in Mackay!

Your new role
This is a varied and rewarding dual role where leadership meets hands-on expertise. As a Commercial Site Supervisor / Carpenter, you'll take ownership of day to day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising and coordinating site teams and subcontractors
* Managing projects from site establishment through to completion
* Opening and closing construction sites
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
* Ensuring WHS compliance through inspections, risk management, and incident response
* Enforcing site rules and maintaining safety culture
* Reviewing plans, conducting quality inspections, and managing ITPs
* Completing daily site diaries and attendance records
* Supporting team performance and attending client and stakeholder meetings
* While this is primarily a supervisory role, there is an expectation to assist on the tools when required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Certificate III in Carpentry
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor
* Commercial construction experience (preferred)
* QBCC medium rise licence
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Construction White Card
* Strong knowledge of WHS standards and compliance
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A professional, reliable, and detail oriented approach
