The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of our winery facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our production teams to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the winery, including production, cellar and vineyard.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
* Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and supplies, and contractor relationships.
* Ensure all equipment and systems meet safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs.
* Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
* Train, supervise, and motivate the maintenance team to ensure a high standard of workmanship and safety.
* Supervise and manage a maintenance team of 3-5 staff members.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a senior maintenance role, preferably within food, beverage, or manufacturing industries.
* Minimum 5 years of maintenance management or senior maintenance experience required.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
* Intermediate level electrical systems repair capabilities required.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Working knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance practices.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment.
* Australian work rights required for this position.
