Food & Beverage Supervisor
We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated casual Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the busy team at the Mercure Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast.
Mercure Sunshine Coast Kawana Waters is a full-service hotel with 81 rooms, 3 function rooms, restaurant and bar. The hotel is open 24/7 and caters for mainly corporate and hospital guests, but also groups and leisure travellers. Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast next to Sunshine Coast University Hospitals.

Our Food & Beverage Attendants provide a consistent and high quality standard of guest services, enjoy working under pressure in a busy food and beverage environment.
The key responsibilities will include:
* Handling all customer enquiries with a professional manner and demonstrating high standards of customer service;
* Knowledge of all menu items, any menu changes to explain to the guest and promotional activities;
* Competency at all of the basics including; taking orders, clearing and resetting tables, providing suggestions on menu options, and providing bar and beverage service in an accurate and efficient manner;
* Staging great bar and dining experiences for all customers and have the ability to create a connection with people from all walks of life; and
* Maintain a clean, tidy and well prepared service area.
* Assisting in rostering shifts and shift coverage
* Ordering Stock and stock management
The ideal candidate will have:
* A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work;
* Excellent communication skills;
* A friendly customer service demeanor;
* Prior experience desired in staging outstanding Food & Beverage experiences in a bar, restaurant or hotel setting;
* An ability to thrive under pressure and work as a team in a high paced environment;
* A great sense of style and immaculate presentation and grooming;
* Flexibility to work in all areas of Food & Beverage including the Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Events should the hotel needs require it;
* Attainment of the necessary Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate; and
* Initiative, commitment and passion for your job;
* A strong appreciation and compliance of workplace safety.
