Job Description
This is an ongoing role to deliver efficient and high-quality IT support services to students at the NSW Police Academy. The successful applicant will ensure the smooth operation of campus-based ICT resources and provide support across multiple channels, including phone, remote access, chat, and in-person.
* Deliver responsive and multi-channel IT support resolving incidents and requests at first contact where possible.
* Support and maintain campus IT equipment, systems, and applications across teaching, learning, and administrative environments.
* Provide clear technical guidance and customer service to students and staff.
* Liaise with service partners, vendors, and stakeholders to elevate and resolve issues as needed.
* Monitor compliance with policies and processes, maintaining accurate service records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant must possess a qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience/accreditation. They should have proficiency in using common desktop software and web-based applications, along with a sound understanding of IT Service Management practices, including incident, request, problem, and change management as defined under the ITIL framework.
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Relevant certification, such as Microsoft Certified Professional or CompTIA A+.
* Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
