The role blends traditional product management with elements of game design, focusing on creating seamless, engaging, and effective digital learning experiences. Working closely with a global, cross-functional team, the Product Manager will ensure the platform remains both educationally impactful and engaging for users.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct and Game Design:Design engaging, educational digital experiences aligned with learning objectives.Develop game mechanics and dynamics that make learning interactive, fun, and valuable.Conduct playtesting and refine game designs based on user feedback and data insights.Collaboration and Communication:Work with cross-functional teams, including content, design, technical, and marketing, to integrate game design into the product seamlessly.Engage with global stakeholders, customers, and users through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to ensure a user-centric approach.Project Management and Agile Development:Gather and document requirements, creating Agile user stories to guide development.Manage project schedules, track milestones, and ensure delivery in collaboration with internal and external teams.Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and workshops.Testing and Documentation:Monitor defects and perform ad hoc, content, and user acceptance testing.Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other product documentation.Data-Driven Decision Making:Analyze usage data to understand patterns, gather insights, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.Marketing and UX Collaboration:Support marketing efforts by creating and editing product videos.Collaborate with UX and design teams to develop user experience flows, wireframes, and visual designs.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or PhysicsProven experience in product management or a related role.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.Experience in game design or integrating game mechanics into digital products.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience engaging global stakeholders and teams.Data-driven mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from user data.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Preferred Qualifications:Background in education, instructional design, or a related field.Experience in creating or managing educational platforms or products.Video editing skills and familiarity with UX design processes.Passion for education, learning technologies, and innovative teaching solutions.Benefits:A business with a strong purpose to provide quality education to children globallyA fast-paced environment, fast-growing SaaS companyWork with ministries of education, leading high-profile global publishers, and partnersWork closely alongside seasoned, successful entrepreneursOpportunity to innovate and challenge the status quoGreat remuneration package with significant upside potential
