Senior Accountant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of live tours, events, and productions across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
This is not an average accounting role - you will be part of a fast-moving, high-profile business that requires world-class financial control and strategic support. Your responsibilities will include partnering with managers to deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting throughout the tour lifecycle.
* Drive financial performance by tracking sales, merchandise, and revenue streams, while identifying opportunities to maximise profitability
* Manage end-to-end finance functions including invoicing, AP/AR, reconciliations, and final settlement reporting
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and contract terms, preparing for artist and stakeholder audits
* Provide strategic support through variance analysis, reconciliations, and creative solutions to unique touring challenges
* Build strong stakeholder relationships through transparent reporting and proactive communication
About You
You will be a qualified CA/CPA with 5+ years' experience, ideally from the Big 4 audit or with experience in project accounting, preferably in the entertainment, media, or events industry.
You must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate, influence, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
