About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Fire Technician to join our team, working on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing organisation that offers great potential for career progression.
You will be responsible for leading a small team in the installation of wet and dry fire systems, working hands-on on medium to major construction projects in the healthcare and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a team of fire technicians in the installation of wet and dry fire systems.
* Working on site to ensure the successful completion of projects.
* Maintaining strong client relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
* Ensuring adherence to project timelines and KPIs while prioritising safety and quality control.
* Securing Police Clearance and passing pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in the fire industry.
* 2+ years' experience leading or supervising fire technicians installing wet & dry fire systems.
* A combination of wet & dry fire experience is ideal.
* Fire integration, programming, and electrical expertise is highly desirable.
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology / Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
* FPAS Accreditation (desirable).
* 'A' Grade Electrical License.
* Open Cabling License.
* White Card.
* Elevated Work Platform license.
* High-Risk Work License.
* Driver's License.
* Good communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
