Bounty Boulevard State School is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated student support team for Term 4. Focused on upper primary, this pivotal role will see you working closely with the Guidance Officer and Years 5/6 Deputy Principal to provide targeted social, emotional, and mental health support to a key group of students and their families. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Responsibilities
Supporting identified Year 6 students and their families in the transition to high school and, with securing referrals and engagement with external services to support student mental health prior to the end of the 2025 school year.
Provide social emotional and mental health support to a key group of students and their families
Providing small group lunchtime support for identified students
Providing individual social/emotional mental health support, and running small group activities to provide wellbeing support.
