We are a growing regional law firm with the main office in Macedon Ranges and a newer office in Geelong. Our style is practical, down‑to‑earth and client‑focused, with a strong “country practice” feel while using modern tools and technology to work smarter, not harder.
We’re in the early stages of building our Geelong presence and are looking for a senior lawyer who wants to help shape and grow this office.
The Role
This is an in-office role based in Geelong with flexibility in hours, but we are looking for someone who can be physically present most days (even if just a few hours). You will run your own matters and be a key part of establishing and growing the Geelong practice, including building local relationships and connections.
You will also work within a tech‑forward environment, using practice management software, AI‑assisted tools and other legal tech to improve efficiency and client service.
Who We’re Looking For
A Senior Solicitor (5+ years PAE) with experience in one or more of the following:
* Property Law
* Wills & Estates
* Family Law
* Generalist practice
You will be someone who:
* Is confident running files with minimal supervision
* Has strong judgement and knows when to ask the right questions
* Is comfortable with technology, practice management systems and AI‑enabled tools (or willing to actively embrace them)
* Enjoys building relationships in the local community and with referrers
* Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently in a small, growing office
* Has an interest in practice growth, business development and helping to build a client base in Geelong
