MOSMAN PREP is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Music Teacher for a casual/part-time position commencing Term 1, 2026.

The successful applicant will be required to teach classroom music lessons and must be able to tutor small group ensembles and conduct a large ensemble when required. The ability to teach more than one instrument is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Candidates for this role will be required to demonstrate:
- Experience working with primary aged boys.
- A demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with students that build and maintain student engagement and retention.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Technology literate and experienced in its integration into every aspect of students’ learning.
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Qualifications in tertiary performance and/or music education.
- Experience working with primary aged boys.
- Experience in teaching individuals and small groups as part of curriculum based instrumental programs.
- An ability to develop positive relationships with students that build and maintain student engagement and retention.
- An ability to work within a teaching team.
