Your New Role
This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team that advises healthcare providers, insurers, and institutions on a broad range of health law matters. You'll be involved in complex and high-profile cases, including regulatory compliance, professional disciplinary matters, medical negligence claims, and coronial inquests. The role offers a mix of advisory and litigation work, with opportunities to lead client relationships and contribute to strategic growth.
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Providing expert legal advice to healthcare clients (mostly Nurses and Doctors) across a range of health law issues
* Managing files independently and supporting Partners on complex matters
* Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and advice letters
* Representing clients in tribunals, courts, and regulatory hearings
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Participating in business development initiatives, including seminars and networking events
* Mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* A minimum of 4 years PAE in health law or related litigation
* Strong technical knowledge of healthcare regulation and professional standards
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
* A proactive, client-focused approach
