Are you passionate about defence aviation? Whether you are an experienced aircraft refueller or seeking to embark on a new and exciting career, we are looking for an aircraft refueller to join our team at RAAF Townsville, NQLD.
The role
* support the defence fuel network across australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability.
* carry out before use inspections of refuelling vehicles, equipment, and documentation to ensure operational readiness.
* conduct daily fuel quality checks in line with safe work procedures, (swps) to ensure fuel is free from water and contaminants.
* safely approach and refuel australian and international military aircraft, establishing exclusion zones, bonding equipment, and observing all aviation safety requirements.
* complete all post refuelling documentation, including meter readings and customer signoff, and report hazards or incidents promptly.
What you need
attributes that you will bring to support our team would include, self-starting and team player capabilities along with dedication to the vital role we perform in supporting our defence force to deliver high quality outcomes for ugl.
* a valid hc drivers licence and dangerous goods handling licence essential
* experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
* good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
* current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
