Fresh To Go Foods is a leading food manufacturer dedicated to crafting high quality, ready made wraps and sandwiches renowned for commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. We are a high care food assembly team with our range of ready-made food service businesses nationwide. This opportunity will suit an experienced QA Officer who thrives in ensuring products meet quality standards through testing, inspection and process improvement. Reporting to the QA Coordinator, this position spans 4 days per week on each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday starting at 4am (Full Time 38 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enforce HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards
* Conduct routine quality checks, inspections, and audits.
* Monitor production processes to ensure product compliance; line clearance, metal detection, etc.
* Ensure adherence to standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Investigate non-compliances and implement corrective actions.
* Manage documentation, records, and compliance reporting.
* Liaise with production teams to drive continous improvement.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Assist in development of internal auditing programs for Food Safety and Quality.
* Induct new staff on Food Handling and Hygiene and perform other QA training.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills
* A Food Technology Qualification or equivalent
* Some experience gained within the food manufacturing industry
* Proven problem-solving capability
* Sound knowledge of regulations and standards
* A Positive 'can-do-attitude'
