About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, articulate Lead Generation & Outreach Specialist to conduct outbound calls to companies in industries that use compressed or ambient air testing (manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, medical, industrial services, etc.). This role focuses on asking targeted discovery questions, gathering market intelligence, and identifying potential sales opportunities for our air testing services.
You will call a mix of warm leads (existing lists, past customers, inbound interest) and cold leads (new prospects). Your goal is to collect accurate information—not to close deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to targeted companies in the compressed air and ambient air sectors.
* Ask structured discovery questions, including:
* How they are currently testing their compressed or ambient air.
* What standards they are following (ISO 8573, OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
* Who they use as their testing provider.
* How often they test.
* What they are currently paying or budgeting for testing services.
* Pain points with their current provider or process.
* Document all call results, notes, and lead data accurately in CRM or call tracking tools.
* Identify and qualify leads that meet criteria for follow-up by the sales team.
* Provide weekly summaries of trends, pricing insights, competitor names, and common market feedback.
* Maintain professionalism, consistency, and a customer-friendly tone in all interactions.
* Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards when handling sensitive customer or pricing information.
* Remote position, 10-15 hours weekly with scheduled hours to be performed during Australian business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, AEST)

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
* Comfortable making cold and warm calls.
* Strong note taking and data-entry accuracy.
* Ability to follow a script while still sounding natural.
* Curiosity and willingness to ask probing, industry-relevant questions.
* Basic understanding of industrial or technical products—OR willingness to learn (we will train).
* Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently.
Preferred (but not required)
* Experience in:
* Compressed air systems
* B2B lead generation or call center work
* Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Performance Expectations
* Daily outreach activity targets (# of calls, conversations).
* Quality of information gathered.
* Accuracy and completeness of recorded data.
* Professionalism and ability to leave positive impressions during outreach.
* To support our Australian clients effectively, your hours need to align with Australian business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, AEST)
