Sharp and Carter are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in a significant multiyear transformation. This is a hands-on Senior Project Manager position until 30/06/2026 with multiple extension options available.
If you are well-versed in operating at the junction of Business and Technology Transformation, experienced in leading end-to-end project delivery from RFP to delivery, and comfortable bringing clarity to an evolving ambiguous environment, this could be the role for you.
The Role:
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will take full ownership of a large-scale project spanning procurement through to delivery. This is not a project management role — the environment is still in its early stages, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguity and can create structure where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading RFI and RFP processes, including design, market engagement, vendor evaluation, and contract award.
* Driving end-to-end delivery of a core system replacement project (~$10-20m).
* Managing budgets, risks, dependencies, and timelines across a complex portfolio.
* Building and leading a multi-disciplinary team (BAs, Change, PMO, vendors).
* Engaging closely with executive stakeholders and senior leaders.
* Shaping delivery approaches in a maturing governance environment.
About You:
We're looking for a highly capable Senior Project Manager who can operate with autonomy while building strong relationships across technology, business, and executive teams.
Must-have Experience:
* 10+ years in project management, with proven Senior PM credentials.
* Successful delivery of large, complex transformation projects ($10m+).
* Strong experience in procurement, vendor engagement, and RFP/RFI processes.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including executive engagement.
* Outcome-focused and pragmatic.
* Background in multi-vendor transformations.
* Resilient and comfortable with ambiguity.
* Strong communicator who earns trust quickly.
* Hands-on, delivery-focused leader.
