**BRICC Transport Coordinator**
**Permanent part time**
**Up to 30 hours per fortnight as job share, days by negotiation**

**About the role**

The Grampians Health Cancer Services Team, located in BRICC, is seeking an additional permanent part time _Transport Coordinator_ to join our team in a job-share capacity. As a cancer services transport coordinator, you will provide operational support to our team of BRICC volunteer drivers who transport cancer patients to and from treatment and specialist consultations in the BRICC. We are seeking an excellent communicator - you are proficient in organising schedules and navigating software platforms; you are someone who easily connects with people. For this specific role, you will connect with our volunteer driver team and cancer administration teams. You are an empathic professional who values the importance of clear information and direction for families negotiating health care services. You are an organiser, accurate with scheduling and data entry. You are confident in your communication style and capacity - verbal and written, where precise information is important to deliver accurate scheduling for patients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing of patient requests for transport
- Liaising with administrative staff across the cancer services teams
- Liaising with volunteer drivers to organise transport

**Skills and experience**
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Administration experience
- Previous experience working in a volunteer involving organisation is desirable, but not mandatory

Grampians Health was established 1 November 2021, bringing together Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital, Stawell Regional Health, Wimmera Health Care Group and Ballarat Health Services to deliver safe, sustainable, healthcare tailored to changing workforce and community needs, for the long term.

Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) is a world-class cancer centre providing cancer care, treatment and research for the entire Grampians Region. Specialised services include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, allied health and supportive care services in an outpatient setting. The BRICC provides treatment options locally for residents of the Grampians region where previously patients were required to travel to Geelong or Melbourne.
