Our manager for the last 15 years is retiring, so we now are looking for an experienced and dynamic retail Store Manager to join and lead our wonderful Launceston store team
This hands-on role includes overall management of all aspects of the store, from stock control and presentation, to customer service activities and overseeing and coordinating our committed team of around 12 staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE
* This is a full-time role working with staff, customers and suppliers to provide customers with the best healthy groceries and bulk foods.
* Your role will also be to grow Eumarrah as a leader in sustainability and ethical business for the common good of the broader community.
* Ensure all areas run smoothly and follow procedures to the highest standards by closely working on the floor with staff in a friendly and productive manner.
* Oversee up-keep of store presentation and cleanliness.
* Administration duties - including store procedures, rostering and staff operations, overseeing stock purchasing/inventory, solving issues as they arise - are important, but should take up only around 1/4 of your time.
* Ensure adherence to Eumarrah policies, safe work practices, and waste reduction.
* Foster forward thinking and innovation to further build and strengthen Eumarrah.
* The role also involves regular communication with the wider Eumarrah management team encompassing our Hobart store and wholesale warehouse.
* The position is casual for the first 6 months, with opportunity to become full-time after this.
ABOUT YOU
* Previous retail management experience working with multiple staff and demonstrated leadership ability.
* Point of sale, visual merchandising and experience.
* Exceptional customer service and community-building focus.
* The position requires you to be a strong team leader who can engage and motivate to ensure workflows are completed efficiently and effectively.
* A strong eye for detail, quality, accuracy and presentation is essential.
* Excellent time management, well organised and capable of handling competing priorities.
* A proactive optimistic attitude, with enthusiasm, passion and pride.
* Strong commitment to consistent systems, with the ability to make systematic decisions, problem solve and prioritise on the go.
* Physically fit and safety aware. The role will include some regular and repeated lifting.
* A passion and knowledge of wholefoods, organics and environmental awareness with a strong willingness to learn.
