What you'll be doing
As a Paediatric Emergency Nurse you will provide excellent and efficient nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering safe and compassionate services for children and their families.
Deliver nursing care aligned with NSW Health policies and professional standards
Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation
Contribute to education and professional development for staff, students, families and carers
Actively promote a positive and professional image of nursing within the organisation
Ensure a safe, dignified and supportive environment for patients, staff and visitors

Essential criteria
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience
Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
