About the position

The Analyst, Credit Execution plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality transactions, working closely with borrowers, internal investment teams and external advisers. This role is central to ensuring each transaction is rigorously assessed, well-structured and efficiently executed in line with approved risk parameters. This is a hands-on role offering strong exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders and the full lifecycle of real estate debt investing.

Key responsibilities

Investment execution and approvals

* Support due diligence on real estate debt transactions, including credit risk assessment, cash flow modelling and feasibility analysis.
* Prepare high-quality Investment Committee papers and contribute to IC discussions, clearly articulating risks, mitigants and transaction structures.
* Assist in the preparation and review of term sheets and transaction structures in line with approved investment parameters.

Documentation and Settlement

* Coordinate legal documentation, conditions precedent and settlement processes to achieve timely financial close.
* Review and negotiate financing documentation (commensurate with experience) to ensure alignment with approvals and commercial intent.
* Manage internal stakeholders and external advisers through execution and closing.

Asset management and portfolio oversight

* Manage investments post-close, including covenant monitoring, reporting, waivers, amendments and extensions.
* Maintain borrower relationships and oversee day-to-day information flows, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Support accurate and timely investor, fund and internal reporting.

Stakeholder engagement and team contribution

* Build and maintain effective working relationships with borrowers, sponsors, internal teams and external counterparties.
* Contribute to broader team initiatives, including process improvements, investor engagement and strategic projects.

What you'll bring to the role

* A tertiary qualification in finance, business, commerce or a related discipline.
* At least 2 years' experience in a relevant field, with exposure to credit analysis, debt structuring and/or real estate valuations.
* Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently.
* Sound commercial acumen and awareness of real estate market trends and the broader investment environment.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under ambiguity and pressure.
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
* Adaptability and a growth mindset, including a willingness to embrace new technologies and tools (including Gen AI) to improve productivity and quality of output.
