This role will start with local Perth-based work in Henderson on an industrial demolition site, with the opportunity to continue long-term and transition into FIFO project work for the right candidates.

The opportunity
As a key member of our demolition crew, you will operate premium low-hour equipment across demolition, remediation and civil scopes. You will be working on excavators ranging from 25T+ through to high-reach machines, using a variety of demolition attachments including shears, grabs, pulverisers and hammers.

Skills and Experiences:
Key responsibilities
Operate excavators safely and efficiently (30T+ experience essential)
Carry out structural demolition, bulk excavation and remediation works
Use attachments such as hydraulic grabs / 5-finger grabs, shears and hammers
Support site operations including loading, sorting and material handling
Complete daily pre-start checks and routine machine inspections
Report hazards, defects and incidents in line with site requirements
Work closely with supervisors and the wider crew to meet daily targets
Maintain a high standard of safety, housekeeping and compliance
What you'll bring
Minimum 5 years excavator experience (25T+), with strong 30T capability
Proven demolition site experience (industrial demolition highly regarded)
Experience operating a variety of trucks such as service, water, dump and hook trucks
White Card
Strong safety awareness and a team-first attitude
Highly regarded tickets and experience
HR licence
Oxy cutting
EWP, Forklift or Telehandler ticket
ADT / water cart / service truck experience
Previous FIFO or remote project experience
Pre-employment requirements
Pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol screening)
Federal Police Clearance
