About the role
Bluey's Hunting & Fishing in Wodonga, VIC, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused part-time Retail Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining the store's appearance.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with customers
* Assisting customers with product selection and answering their questions about our products
* Maintaining the store's appearance and organisation, including restocking shelves, tidying displays, and keeping the sales floor clean and presentable
* Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Proactively identifying and communicating any stock issues or customer feedback to the store manager
* Supporting the overall operations of the store as needed
* Preparing online orders
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the sporting goods or outdoor industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised store environment
* Strong communication and sales skills; with the ability to identify customer needs, ideally in the sales of our product range
* Strong computer skills
* Availability to work some Saturdays
* Knowledge in firearms, hunting, fishing or camping is essential
