As the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team across clinical, hospitality and support services to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include: Providing leadership and direction across all areas of the home Creating a positive, engaged culture focused on quality, safety and compassion Ensuring excellence in resident care, experience and outcomes Leading accreditation, audits, compliance and continuous improvement activities Managing risk, incidents, complaints and governance requirements Building strong relationships with residents, families, GPs, allied health and the local community Overseeing staffing, rosters, budgets and operational performance Coaching, mentoring and developing leaders and frontline teams Ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards and organisational policies What will you need? Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions) Proven experience as a Residential Aged Care Manager, Care Manager or Clinical Leader ready for the next step Strong knowledge and practical application of the Aged Care Act and Quality Standards Demonstrated experience leading audits and implementing effective processes and procedures Confidence managing high-performing teams and complex operational environments Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills A genuine passion for aged care and creating homes where people feel safe, respected and heard About Launceston, Tasmania Launceston offers the best of both worlds — a vibrant regional city surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
