You will perform a range of routine diagnostic techniques and support accurate, timely results that underpin effective clinical decision-making and patient care. Working under supervision, you will also contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of laboratory practices by assisting in the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new methodologies. This position provides a strong foundation for scientific growth while actively supporting the laboratory’s commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in scientific practice, supported by a relevant degree as outlined in the NPAAC’s Requirements for Supervision. You will demonstrate initiative, precision, and a collaborative approach, with the ability to follow routine procedures while also identifying and resolving technical issues. Holds a relevant AQF Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) with a major focus on pathology or recognised associate qualification under NPAAC guidelines. Demonstrates high-level attention to detail and time management in conducting diagnostic tests within standard laboratory procedures. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication, technical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in general pathology laboratory operations, including equipment handling, software applications, and quality compliance.
