We are looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join our team in Sydney.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and consistent management of the night audit function, including audits, reports and reconciliations. They will also achieve successful management of the front office overnight, including late check-ins, compliant handling, problem-solving, remote guest support, security, and support for our afterhours support centre.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the night audit function, including audits, reports and reconciliations.
2. Manage the front office overnight, including late check-ins, compliant handling, problem-solving, remote guest support, security, and support for our afterhours support centre.
3. Foster good collaboration of the night team with the wider night and day teams.
4. Provide training and escalation support for other night teams.
5. Deliver high levels of guest services in all interactions.
6. Execute safe and professional management of emergency situations.
7. Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager in higher-level hotel management and admin tasks.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
8. Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights).
9. A First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting).
10. A Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting).
11. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout the week, including public holidays on rotation with other team members.
12. Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes.
13. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage escalated complaints with appropriate resolutions.
14. High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal).
15. Experience in a customer service role.
