Preferred Candidate Qualifications
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Professional experience and expertise in a senior Nursing management role.
Dynamic, Pragmatic and a change leader.
Advantageous Experience/Qualifications
Post graduate nursing or management qualifications.
Management experience in a public health acute services, both rural and metro.
General knowledge and familiarity of relevant political contexts at local, state and federal levels.
Experience with hospital expansions and change management.
Important
Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
About our Organisation
West Gippsland Healthcare Group provides acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, community and aged care services, primarily in the Shire of Baw Baw, approximately 100 kms east of Melbourne.
West Gippsland Healthcare Group comprises a number of sites. They are Baw Baw Health and Community Care Centre, Community Services Centres in Warragul and Trafalgar, Cooinda Lodge Aged Care Residence, Rawson Community Health Centre, Andrews House Aged Care Residence, Warragul Linen Service and West Gippsland Hospital.
