Specifically, our focus is upon the mechanical/structural design and drafting for plant, equipment & product developments and upgrades for industrial manufacturers, producers and miners.
We are seeking a 3D Designer (structural / mechanical) with interest and experience in the structural and mechanical design realms, and whom has a keen interest in the design of plant & equipment.Benefits to You!
38hr week required, but I provide my team a lot of flexibility to get their work done (flexible start times and finish times)Computer + Software providedProfessional training and professional developmentSmall team of 5 engineersImmediate start (within 1-2 weeks)Permanent full-time contractWorkplace who values your input and supports your developmentRole Requirements:Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling and drafting skillset· Note that Inventor is our primary drafting software so deep familiarity with this software will be crucial.Experience in mining and/or industrial equipmentExperience in structural or mechanical drafting (preferably both)Technically minded, mechanically mindedExperience in/with shop manufacturing (drawings)High level of computer literacyDescription of Work:3D modelling, presentation, and shop detailing for a wide range of equipment, such as:Plant & factory layout (overall plant design and arrangement)Custom machinery and prototype design thereof3D point cloud overlay (on Brownfields jobs)Mechanised automation plantProduct handling systems (transport systems for raw materials, bulk materials, finished products, etc) e.g. Conveyors, Pneumatic transport, Screws & augers, Bucket elevatorsFixed infrastructure (supporting structures, access structures, etc)Please note that JH Design and Implementation does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
