Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician
Your role will play a significant part in the company's growth and overall success by delivering quality service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks.
Responsibilities
Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base - Help Crown build positive customer experiences
Use field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedule
Inventory input on Company allocated service van & customer sites - Deliver a professional level of service
Gain experience in dealing with Australia\'s top tiered customer base
Join the leading forklift service business in Australia; Crown is the largest forklift service provider in the country
8 week onboarding and industry leading training program
Perform routine maintenance & complete service work - Reactive & Planned
Accurately maintain important service records of work performed
Typical Tasks
Conduct customer-focused scheduled and breakdown services
Assist in preparation of field-based quotes for customers
Record notes and file service records; provide high level customer service
Access to industry-leading training and progression opportunities
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge including automation and telematics
Stay current with industry trends, new products and services
Partner with the Company to maximise sales and service across a dedicated customer base
Requirements
Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential
Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
