Join the Digital Consumer Finance team as a Technology Associate Project Manager, where you'll help turn business vision into reality by planning and delivering strategic change in partnership with key stakeholders. This team is focused on becoming Australia's favourite way to Pay and Borrow, and the best bank in the pocket—driving innovation and customer-centric solutions across digital finance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop an understanding of the Digital Consumer Finance Strategies and the components of the Transformation agenda
* Ensuring adherence to Group project execution framework in compliance with Finance and Group Transformation
* Identify stakeholders, develop and maintain collaborative working relations
* In conjunction with the Senior Project manager provide management to technology and business delivery resources in the end-to-end delivery of defined areas of responsibility
* Engage external to project stakeholders specifically to define delivery responsibility building and managing that relationship alongside other Project Managers
* Work collaboratively with the project team, Technology, and Group functions to foster a culture of learning with a relentless focus on continuous improvement
* Manage, track & report requirements, and design business processes to meet the needs of the project and the Westpac Group
* Management of financials, tracking spending, and forecasting
* Manage and drive 'As Is' and 'To Be' process discussions
* Manage the development of detailed Business Requirement Documents and Business Process Specifications, including Functional / Non-Functional Specifications that will drive the desired change to business operations and system enhancement/development activities
* Review and update documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial scope, and assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
* Manage Change Management and IT teams in testing, training, and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions
* Assist in constructing business cases and benefits realisation plans, specifically analysing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs
* Ensure that risks are managed by frameworks, including governance and escalation frameworks
Manage and record delivering small budget (about <$1m scale), non-complex projects
