Job Description
About the Role
As Terminal Movements Specialist, you will play the crucial role of managing the daily fuel terminal product movements to ensure that safe and reliable supply is maintained and that the needs of the customers are met in a timely manner. The role is focussed on managing the receipt, storage and delivery of fuel products for our three bulk fuel storage facilities in Brisbane, managing and optimising the pipeline schedule, tracking product deliveries and commitments, and fuel quality management. You will be a key interface for the shipping and terminal teams, customer supply team and end user stakeholders. You will work with our customers to best manage product stock level, supply continuity and initiate corrective actions when required to meet demand.
About You
Given the specialist nature of this role, we are prepared to train the right person in fuel terminal management, fuel quality & safety and pipeline movements planning. You may have come from a maintenance planning/scheduling background gained in other high-risk environments such as chemical, oil and gas. The role requires the flexibility to operate in a dynamic environment, managing changing deadlines and short notice movements. You will have experience and knowledge of computer-based planning tools, and ability to manage the stock management systems. A continuous improvement focus, good communication skills and attention to details are skills required to succeed.
