Mobile Pink Slip Inspector – Newcastle & Hunter Region
Temporary Contractor Role – Ideal for Retirees
We're growing our mobile pink slip inspection service across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock, Port Stephens, and the Hunter Valley.
This is perfect part-time work for a trade-qualified mechanic who wants to stay active, earn extra income, and set their own schedule — without the hassle of owning tools or a work vehicle.
What the role involves:
-Performing authorised mobile e-Safety Checks (Pink Slips) for light vehicles
-Using the official TfNSW R-Safety system for quick, professional inspections
-Delivering friendly, reliable service to local drivers in the Hunter region
-Hours & Pay $300 per day as a contractor
-3–4 days per week — you choose which days suit you best
What we provide:
-Fully equipped mobile inspection vehicle
-All tools and equipment supplied
-Training and support to complete inspections efficiently
What we're looking for:
-Someone with an ABN
-Trade-qualified mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
-Must hold a current pink slip ticket (ASCIS Light Vehicle Examiner authorisation) or be willing to obtain one
-Professional attitude with good customer service skills
-Reliable and comfortable working independently
-Based in or near the Newcastle & Hunter region
