A day in the life…

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to manage our retail Impulse customers in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas up to Tamworth region in NSW.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing merchandisers, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory through in-store wins and executing a commercial plan.

Key drivers for this role include introducing new lines, increasing distribution, maintaining trade standards, and building displays.


Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
2. Build strong relationships within your portfolio of customers within the Impulse and Convenience channel.
3. Conduct face-to-face meetings with stand-alone and multi-site customers to understand their needs, present product offerings, and negotiate sales agreements.
4. Collaborate with wholesalers and internal customer teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
5. Manage a casual merchandiser within your territory.
6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
7. Drive distribution, trade standards, and display building, along with introducing new product lines.
8. Deliver on cycle priority KPIs.


Regional Travel Requirements

You will be responsible for visiting clients, prospects, and stakeholders to build relationships and drive sales growth. This includes:

* Monthly travel within your defined territory, up to 5 nights away from home.
* Planning and managing your travel schedule efficiently.
* Attending industry conferences and sales meetings.


What will make you successful?

Preferred qualifications and qualities include:

* Sales and/or FMCG experience, particularly in Impulse channel or supermarkets, including store or department management.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PowerBi.
* Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales, managing your territory as if it were your own business.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel and stay away from home regularly.
* Valid Full Driver’s License.
* Legal working rights in Australia.
