This role will report to the Executive Manager, Commercial Finance.A bit about your roleThis role will provide strategic financial support to the SEO (Systems, Engineering and Operations) function, helping shape and deliver key initiatives across technology transformation, cost optimisation and capital investment.
This role is central to enabling informed decision-making through clear financial insights, robust business case development and trusted commercial advice.You will partner closely with the SEO Leadership Team to support operational priorities and strategic planning.
This includes leading monthly performance reporting, scenario modelling and forecasting, and ensuring financial results are clearly communicated and aligned to targets.
You will also play a key role in managing OPEX and CAPEX risks and opportunities, supporting vendor negotiations and facilitating the development of the annual plan.A bit about youThe successful candidate will be a degree-qualified accountant with CA or CPA accreditation, and bring strong experience in financial and project reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
You are confident working in complex environments, with a background in IT commercial finance or experience supporting technology functions through change.You are analytical and collaborative, with a proven ability to develop business cases, build financial models and communicate insights with clarity.
A strong ability to influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships, will be key to your success.
