About This Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people across the region. The role provides essential services to communities in the North West, including Narrabri, Moree, Inverell, and surrounding smaller centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, consumer-focused mental health assessments, formulations, and treatments to improve outcomes for older people and their families/carers.
* Provide supervision, consultation, and clinical leadership within the team.
* Offer community-based interventions and consultations for older people experiencing, or at risk of developing, mental health problems.
* Implement the Older People's Mental Health Community Model of Care, including comprehensive assessment, intervention, case management, and care coordination.
* Contribute discipline-specific expertise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across health and community sectors; provide consultation and intervention for Residential Aged Care Facilities.
* Receive regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development; participate in internal in-service programs and connect with peers for support.

Requirements
* Possess a recognised and accredited tertiary qualification and registration (or eligibility) with the relevant board via AHPRA, or eligibility for membership of the relevant association, in one of the following disciplines: social work, psychology, occupational therapy or nursing.
