About the Job
We require porters to work on three days out of seven, covering various shifts. This includes walking ***** miles per day, transferring patients on beds or chairs to other departments and wards, moving equipment, medical notes (up to 15kg) and office/ward moves. Other duties include assisting with the delivery of internal post, Pharmacy supplies to wards and blood related products to various wards across the Trust.
Please be aware some duties are of a sensitive nature. We also use electrical vehicles for waste collection, delivering post and pharmacy deliveries. A full UK driving license is required for this.
Main Duties
* All shifts are 8 hours with a 30 minute break.
* On a daily basis, you may walk ***** miles per day, transfer patients on beds or chairs to other departments and wards, move equipment, medical notes (up to 15kg) and office/ward moves.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* English & Maths at C grade.
* Previous customer Service experience/Experience dealing with the public.
* NHS experience.
* Previous Porter experience in a hospital environment.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
