Requirements: 10+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5+ years of experience on Azure SQL Database Migration with technically guided, managed and governed the teams.
Must have NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance!
Primary skills:
* Experience with Azure-Migrate.
* Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set.
* Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault.
* Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.
* Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.
* Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration.
* Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models.
* Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022).
* Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting.
Secondary Skills:
* Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure.
* On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure.
* Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell script.
* Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools.
* Conforming to client compliances and expectations.
Certifications (Good to have):
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate.
